Amulet of Yendor Item

The Amulet of Yendor is the most powerful known artifact of unknown origin. It is said that the amulet is able to fulfill any wish if its owner's will-power is strong enough to “persuade” it to do it. Obtaining this legendary artifact is the primary objective of every adventurer who enters the dungeon.

• Location: Found at the bottom of the dungeon (pedestal on the final level)
• Objective: Primary game win condition
• Upgradable: No
• Identify: Not required (always identified)

The Amulet of Yendor serves as the ultimate goal of the dungeon:

• It can only be found at the bottom of the dungeon on a pedestal
• Picking it up triggers the amulet scene and ends the game via the WIN_AMULET ranking
• Once obtained, the player receives a victory message: “You finally hold it in your hands, the Amulet of Yendor. Using its power you can take over the world or bring peace and prosperity to people or whatever. Anyway, your life will change forever and this game will end here. Or you can stay a mere mortal a little longer.”
• The amulet cannot be thrown or dropped (the `AC_THROW` and `AC_DROP` actions are removed; only `AC_END` and the default actions remain)
• Cannot be upgraded and is always considered identified

• Focus on survival and progression to reach the final boss
• Prepare adequately before attempting to retrieve the amulet
• Plan your escape route after obtaining it
