Blindness Buff

Blindness is a negative status effect that impairs vision and reduces accuracy in combat.

• Reduced Accuracy - Significantly decreases chance to hit targets
• Reduced Evasion - Makes character more vulnerable to attacks
• Limited Vision - Reduces the radius of vision in dark areas
• Ranged Penalty - Makes ranged attacks much less accurate

• Standard duration is 10 turns when applied by Scroll of Curse
• Can vary depending on the source of the effect
• Some resistances can reduce the duration

• Scroll of Curse - One of the possible random curse effects, applied for 10 turns (see ScrollOfCurse.java)
• Scroll of Psionic Blast - Blinds all visible characters for 3-5 turns
• Bandit - Applies Blindness for 5-12 turns after a successful steal (Bandit.java)
• Spider Mind Amber - Can inflict Blindness with its attacks
• Shoot In Eye spell - Huntress affinity spell that blinds its target

• Resistance - Some armor and rings may provide resistance
• Potions - Potion of Purity can remove the effect
• Time - Effect expires naturally after duration

• Be especially cautious when blinded as you're more vulnerable to attacks
• Try to retreat to safer areas when blinded
• Avoid using ranged weapons when possible while blinded
• Use area effects that don't require precision
